A capsule of polysaccharide is formed on the surface of bacterial cells during cultivation. Hyaluronic acid accumulates in the culture fluid, after which it is purified.

The hyaluronic acid obtained in this way has the form of a solution or powder, which are later used for the production of medicines.

The molecule of this acid is very sensitive to external influences. Therefore, it is important to observe the storage conditions during isolation, purification and sterilization.

The production of hyaluronic acid for contouring is carried out by microbial synthesis. Then there is the creation of cross-links between the sections. In other words, stabilization.

The density of the cross-links has a direct effect on the basic properties of the gels obtained: mechanical density, degree of swelling, elasticity, diffusion characteristics and permeability.

Depending on the purpose, the gels have varying degrees of viscosity. For example, less stable gels are used to eliminate fine and medium wrinkles. And to make up for lost volume and correct wrinkles, they are viscous.
